A capella choir with a focus on global music
Thursday’s Children is a choir singing a range of music from around the globe. Formed in 1993, the group is headed by acclaimed choral leader Therese Virtue, and has around a dozen regular singers.
The group has travelled to East Timor to set up a choir, and also ended up digging a well in the country, and still raises funds for a variety of projects in East Timor.
An accomplished a capella choir, Thursday’s Children performs at festivals and events across the state, and also loves a pop-up venue – whether it be a street corner or anywhere there is an audience to hear their unique and engaging sound.
