The Ethical Foodstore can’t be missed; it is the cornerstone of Koonwarra. With a beautiful courtyard surrounded by a cottage garden, you can enjoy the delights of their menu outdoors on a pleasant day. ‘Milly & Romeo’s is very Koonwarra, according to Maria. “We are all about encouraging and celebrating local producers and clean food. Food that’s not processed and which doesn’t use chemicals,” she says.
“The emphasis in the school is on traditional and simple because that forms the basis of cooking,” Maria says.
