Peppermint Ridge Farm is an eight-hectare property nestled in bushland close to Bunyip State Park. It has been transformed over 25 years into a Living Classroom focusing on sustainability and the value of Australia’s native plants in landscape design and creative cooking.
Co-founder, Julie Weatherhead, will host a presentation and provide an opportunity to learn more about Australia’s wonderful native food plants:
– Which plants will grow best in your garden
– How to grow and propagate them
– How to use them in everyday cooking
Julie will also demonstrate the creation of an Australian ‘bush food pesto’ using warrigal greens and plenty of fresh local garlic.
